After a week of competition, a new Miss Wisconsin has been crowned.
Miss Madison Capital City McKenna Collins was crowned Miss Wisconsin 2017 Saturday at the conclusion of the 2017 Miss Wisconsin Scholarship Pageant at Alberta Kimball Auditorium in Oshkosh.
Collins performed ballet en pointe to “Swan Lake” for her talent. Her platform is “Project Plie: Artistic Development.”
Rounding out the Top 5, the four runners-up were:
- First runner-up: Miss Badgerland, Tianna Vanderhei
- Second runner-up: Miss Great Lakes, Gina Miliacca
- Third runner-up: Miss Onalaska, Erin O’Brien
- Fourth runner-up: Miss Northern Lights, April Haldeman
Collins will represent Wisconsin at the 2017 Miss America Competition Sept. 6-10 in Atlantic City.
